mini review

Naruko Tree Tea Oil Out Balancing Serum claims that "it is an invisible oil absorbing sheet designed to stop the production of excess oil while keeping the skin moisturized. the balancing serum forms an invisible barrier to keep oil away. the serum helps skin function normally by immediately increasing the skin's metabolism, absorbing excess oil and moisturizing the skin. it is a refreshing serum that helps to keep away acne and blackheads." more info about the product can be found here.

When I purchased this product I intended to use it as an acne and blackhead prevention item. I find that this product is very effective in balancing out the skin but not so much on "keeping away acne and blackheads".

This product has lasted me for about 3 months and it really keep my skin well balanced. Prior to using this product, my t-zone area will get slightly oily due to the humid weather but once I started using it I noticed that my skin stay matte throughout the hot humid days. Its converted my skin from combo back to normal again. The product is fast absorbing and keep the skin hydrated. The texture of this is between a gel and lotion, it feels very nice and not sticky at all.

I would not repurchase it again due to the fact that I want an acne prevention product and this does not do it for me. Its great to use during the summer months to balance out the skin or if you have oily skin, I feel like its more of a product to control the oil in your skin whether than preventing breakouts.

Hurricane Sandy!

I woke up to absolutely no sunshine today. High winds banging on my windows and many things were blown all over the place outside. To me its both exciting and dangerous. Like many other people, I worry about the damages hurricane Sandy will cost to us on the east coast but I'm also super excited. Maybe cause we almost never experienced much of these "nature" events.

Updates

It has been a long time since my last post. Initially this isn't the post I had in mind but it will do for now. This week had been hectic, definitely a very "fill" week.

Even though I've lived in Boston my whole life, I have never done the freedom trail walk and I finally did it this past Wednesday with a good friend of mine. We didn't get to complete the whole trail but will definitely do so another thing. It was a very inspiration experience and it had lead me to places in Boston that I never knew existed.

Yesterday I got my left side wisdom teeth extracted. Its not as swollen or painful as I thought it would be. The pain subsidized after a few hours but the medication make me feeling so sick and uncomfortable that I have just not taken anymore. Hopefully I will heal soon and get to enjoy tasty food again.

Today an very important interview might direct my life into the next stage. Hopefully I will get the desired result!

The First Day of My Career

my first day did not start off so well. my i.d. was denied access to my office building which was the result of my profile being blocked. so technically I don't even exist in the company. manager had to come fetch me at the lobby and spent my whole day shadowing a colleague. even though my manager used all his spare brain cells to solve the problem but in the end it was left unresolved. it will be quite a repetitive day tomorrow. oh what joy!

it comes with plastic foot gloves so you can still easily walk around or just sit back and relax.

Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil, I LOVE!

I would like to share my all time favorite body lotion, Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil.

this body lotion is awesome. it keeps my skin moisturized for truly the whole day. the texture is nothing of an oil so no need to be frightened by its name. it is a very lightweight lotion that get absorb by the skin instantly. it have a very strong scent of sweet almond but fade away momentarily. I know many people don't like the scent of almond but I personally love it.

back to the product, again it absorb effortlessly into the skin and keeps the skin moisturized for the whole day. it also makes the skin very soft and smooth. 5 stars in my book!

Haruhada Activator Review

At first I did not want to write this review because I really don't have much to say about this product. But since there are people that is curious about it and there is not much reviews on it I have decided to write one.

Haruhada Vitamin C Activator is a serum that claims to diminish pores, promotes skin transparency and is formulated with collagen.

I have been using this product for at least 3 months and my initial impression of it was I did not like it. The texture is completely not what I expected. I expected it to be of an true serum texture (liquidity) but it is more of a slimy gel texture. I really don't think it does much for my skin and now that I'm close to finishing the product I could say that it does have a subtle effectiveness on the skin but it is not a life changing miracle product. I feel like it only helps maintain your pores, if they were not huge to begin with, but if you have really bad pores problem, this wouldn't help at all. Also, since the name contain vitamin C and knowing the benefits of vitamin C I assumed it will help with the clarify of my skin but I really don't see a huge difference.

Overall I'm not impressed with this product and definitely will not be repurchasing.
